                Pike Fishing.
Not many anglers on the water at the moment but those that are report some catches of small fish mainly on jerk baits but some being taken on trolled dead baits.
                Trout fishing.
Good fishing on certain areas of the lake mainly on trolled minnows. One or two fish being caught on stone fly but otherwise the fly fishing is not producing fish so would suggest anglers stick to trolling minnows or small rapalas.
                Coarse fishing.
We are getting some good mixed bags from some of our Pre-baited swims. The fishing tends to be best in the evening at the moment with most fish being caught on worm and maggot.

I spent a week fishing a commercial fishery in Wales with my son Gary and my fishing buddy Paul Murray. It was called Whitesprings and I must say for a first try at this type of fishing we had a great time. Lovely accommodation with 6 lakes on our doorstep packed with lovely carp. Owners were very friendly and helpfull and we will definetly be back next year. Still not as good as the wide open wild fishing of Lough Derg in my opinion but a close second best.
