	Founded in 1993 and run by T.J. and his wife Noda both keen anglers and natives of Killaloe/Ballina the Angling Centre caters to the needs of the local and visiting anglers alike. The centre has become the hub of fishing information, freely given with advice on all fishing in the area. T.J. and Noda can also point their customers to accommodations, restaurants, and local places of interest if need be. The Centre supplies bait to anglers in the area and can also provide a bait storage facility free of charge if required. Details of bait can be had on our bait order form. There are also a large range of dead -bait for pike and sea fishing available at the shop. Detailed maps of the fishing in the area available also. This fish was caught by regular visitor Martin Oades from Liverpool and is his personal best to date on Lough Derg.The fished weighed in at 7lb.2ozs. and was part of a 44 fish bag which weighed in total 198lbs. Martin fished one of our shore swims and fed heavily with chopped worm and caster over which he fished worm tipped with red maggot for this great bag of fish.

When a hard days fishing is done nothing like a pint and a chat in the local pub. Family friend John Venables having a chat with myself and my son Gary.John and his wife Shelly from Swansea in Wales spent a few days in the area.Unfortunatly due to very bad weather fishing was mainly done talking tactics in the pub.!!!
